The LA-FE quick-connect adapter provides a reliable and quick seal for pipes, hoses, and components with external threads.
Equipped with elastomer seals, the LA-FE is ideal for sealing out-of-round and rough surfaces and for compensating for large tolerances on the test specimen.
Thanks to its pneumatic actuation, this connector is particularly well-suited for automating test procedures.
The connector does not exert any axial or lateral force on the test specimen.
Deployment
Quick-connect adapters for pressure and vacuum testing of straight pipes (outer diameter) or pipes with crimped ends, flared ends, flanges, or hose fittings.

Custom Solutions
Special versions, such as twin connectors for sealing connections that are close together (see first figure), as well as for sealing rubber and other types of hoses (see second figure), are available upon request.
Secure the quick-connect fitting with a clamping clamp. Insert the test specimen into the LA-FE quick-connect adapter (or slide the quick-connect adapter over the test specimen) and connect the quick-connect adapter to the control air supply.
Supply test air.
Always release the test pressure before disconnecting the connection;
Remove the quick-connect fitting after the control pressure has been released.
